ketubot
A ketubah, Jewish marriage contract, is an opportunity for unique expression of personality, values, and images that are important to you. While many things in life are transient, a ketubah is a lifelong reminder of your commitment and love. Every time I create a ketubah I feel honored to be a part of such an important moment in the couples’ life and imbue each aspect with care and wishes for decades of happiness and health.
printed ketubot
Celebrate your wedding with a ketubah that is as meaningful as it is visually striking. My shop features pre-printed ketubah designs created exclusively in my signature artistic style—with rich symbolism expressed in ink and watercolor. These ketubot serve not only as a central part of your ceremony, but as lasting art pieces to cherish in your home. Browse the collection and find the design that resonates with your story—brought to life through my original artistic vision.
The process for ordering a printed ketubah is as follows:
Purchase the ketubah design from my shop, here.
Select your text. I have a couple options here, and you are welcome to write your own. The text must be sent to me in a copiable format (like a Word doc or Google doc, not a PDF), fully filled out with the names, location and date of the wedding. I am happy to assist you in this process. See font options here.
I create a digital mockup with the text you send me as well as the design you selected. I will send it to you, and we make sure that everything is correct and appears the way you want it to (two rounds of changes).
I print the ketubah using archival materials, and, if desired, add 22 karat gold leaf accents by hand.
The ketubah is packed up and shipped to you!
The whole process takes a minimum of 6 weeks from when you send me the completed text.
custom ketubot
Unlike many other options online, couples who work with me are welcome to write their own text from scratch, edit existing texts, or use a traditional text. Each ketubah I work on is designed around your vision, with the calligraphy and artwork joining together what is meaningful to each person to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. I use a combination of collage, paper cutting, ink and gold leaf.
I love working with folks from all walks of life, including same-sex couples, interfaith couples, and couples seeking alternative texts.
Pricing starts at $4,000 for hand-written ketubot, and $3,500 for printed text. I am currently only accepting commissions for calligraphy and artwork (not calligraphy alone). I require a minimum of three months. If you are interested in working with me, please fill out this form to launch our discussion!
